Position: IBM AI Evangelist
Job Description:

Arrow is seeking an AI Evangelist- Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus in IBM Watsonx. You will play a crucial role in evangelizing, promoting and advocating for the adoption and understanding of IBM AI technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include building awareness, fostering education, and driving enthusiasm for AI within both internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a bridge between technical teams, business leaders, and the wider community, working to demystify AI, showcase its potential, and promote its ethical and responsible use. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and promotion of IBM AI solutions that address complex business challenges with our partners. A qualified candidate should have a strong analytical mind to connect with executives and describe how to solve cutting-edge problems with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Focusing on AI, you'll help customers accelerate their journey towards leveraging IBMs AI suite of tools to achieve their business goals as well as you will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the advancement of AI technology. You'll help customers and suppliers identify opportunities for innovation by leveraging your expertise in the analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence space.

What You'll Be Doing

Educational Outreach:

• Develop and deliver engaging presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate both technical and non-technical audiences about AI concepts, applications, and benefits.
• Collaborate with suppliers, industry organizations, and community groups to promote AI literacy.
• Deliver executive-level conversations for customers and prospects to educate and inspire on the vision of AI.
• Regularly present and be a panelist at industry events and conferences to promote the value of AI and machine learning, adding Arrow Electronics value add and technology.
• Deliver webinars presentations at industry and customer conferences on a variety of AI-related topics.

Thought Leadership:

• Produce impactful, thought-leadership content, including blogs, articles, webinars, white papers, and presentations, to educate, inspire and articulate "the art of possible", while effectively positioning Arrow Electronics as a channel leader.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and ethical considerations in AI.
• Author articles, blog posts, and other thought leadership content to share insights and perspectives on AI-related topics.
• Research, develop and publish thought leadership content for broad audiences.

Community Building:

• Establish and nurture a community of AI enthusiasts, practitioners, and stakeholders.
• Organize and participate in meetups, conferences, webinars, and other events to connect with the AI community.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales teams to understand and communicate the value proposition of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and execute AI-focused campaigns.
• Support enablement, training, and upskilling initiatives of our customer-facing teams
• Gather feedback from the suppliers, community, partners, and internal teams to provide insights for Arrow Solutions Lab use case improvement and development.

Technical Support

• Work closely with Arrow's technical teams to understand AI solutions and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Advocate for ethical and responsible AI practices, addressing concerns related to bias, transparency, and accountability.
• Promote awareness of AI's societal impact and facilitate discussions on responsible AI adoption.
• Obtain training and maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies and current issues.

Networking:

• Build and maintain relationships with influencers, researchers, and professionals in the AI field.
• Represent Arrow at AI-related conferences, seminars, and industry events.
• Connect the outside world and voice of the customer to product development efforts. Provide customer and market feedback for product vision and feature design.
• Be an active and visible contributor to the Arrow AI Center of Excellence community.
• Obtain training and maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies and current issues.

What We Are Looking For:

• 10+ years in a technology leadership/implementation role, preferably with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Real-world AI/ML project end-to-end experiences, including design, build and validate successful AI/ML solutions.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Strong social following and publications on Twitter and LinkedIn
• Experience in Python, MySQL, Github, Git, GO, ETL, OLAP, RDBMS, Scribus, AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, or other platforms and programming languages.
• Experience in common AI/ML frameworks, etc., Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Hugging Face.
• Knowledge and experience with application of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree, neural network, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and with stakeholders.
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver quality work on tight schedules.
• Self-starter who is motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a loosely structured organization.
• Ability to travel 50% or more of the time.

Experience / Education

10+ years in a technology leadership/implementation role, preferably with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $150,100.00 - $250,647.89

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Location: US-NY-New York (Remote Employees)

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
