Northview Church is seeking a high-capacity Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor—a
self-governed, resourceful, and mission-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure
environments. This individual will serve as a trusted partner, organizational gatekeeper, and
strategic extension of Pastor CJ, enabling him to lead with focus, creativity, and maximum
impact.
This isn’t just about calendars and coordination. Pastor CJ is a visionary leader, content creator,
communicator, and culture-shaper. The ideal candidate will not only keep pace with his
schedule but will add creative value to his sermon preparation, writing, speaking, and strategic
messaging. They must be a fast processor with a strong intuition for both the weight and the
rhythm of ministry.
This role also includes supporting the Senior Pastor’s family in moments of high demand. The
Executive Assistant will occasionally assist Pastor CJ’s wife, Kristin, and their four children with
logistical or relational needs that allow the family to flourish under the pressures of public
ministry. High emotional intelligence, trustworthiness, and discretion are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Administrative Support
- Manage the Senior Pastor’s calendar, meetings, and travel
- Ensure timely follow-through on all commitments and action items
- Coordinate high-level communications and engagements with clarity and excellence
2. Creative Contribution & Content Support
- Assist with logistics of content development for sermons, books, media, and public communication
- Help capture ideas, transcribe brainstorm sessions, and organize creative assets
- Serve as a sounding board in the creative process, offering input and clarity
3. Communication & Gatekeeping
- Represent the voice, values, and priorities of the Senior Pastor
- Maintain professionalism in all internal and external correspondence
- Protect the Senior Pastor’s focus through wise filtration and boundaries
4. Meeting & Project Execution
- Prepare materials, logistics, and summaries for key meetings
- Track deadlines and ensure projects are on schedule
- Follow up with action items and communicate clearly with stakeholders
5. Family Support (as needed)
- Support Pastor CJ and Kristin during ministry-intensive seasons or events
- Assist with family logistics when necessary (e.g., scheduling, travel prep, or care coordination)
- Exercise discernment and respect while engaging in the home and family space
6. Operational & Office Management
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and excellent administrative environment
- Champion office systems that promote preparation and strategic alignment
- Address problems before they surface through proactive forecasting

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position works with volunteers and must have an understanding that volunteers are key to the ministry of the church. The employee must have a heart to recruit, train, equip and support volunteers in fulfilling their roles.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of executive assistant or high-level administrative experience preferred
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, visionary environments
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools
- Strong creative instincts with an interest in content, communication, and leadership
- A joyful, servant-hearted attitude and a deep personal walk with Christ
- Ability to travel and work occasional nights/weekends as ministry requires
