Overview

Sunrise Community Church seeks a dynamic and passionate individual to fill the Children’s Ministry Director position. This role is pivotal to our family ministry and instrumental in leading and nurturing our children's spiritual growth and development. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating an environment where children can encounter God, grow in their faith, and develop a lifelong commitment to discipleship.

Responsibilities:

• Provide visionary oversight and leadership in all aspects of children’s ministry here at Sunrise CC.
  • Coordinate Sunday classes for children
  • Coordinate nursery volunteers
  • Coordinate with Family night volunteers and support the children’s ministry/nursery.
  • Identify, train, and support the volunteer team.
  • Plan and coordinate children’s and family events throughout the year, such as VBS.
• Lead a Christ-like lifestyle and pray regularly for those in the children’s ministry and the church body.
• Build and maintain relationships with the parents of the children.
• Oversee curriculum coordination and development.
• Provided Children’s ministry support in other church events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Agreement with the mission, vision, and values of Sunrise Community Church
• Have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing relationship with Him.
• Has a passion for Children’s Ministry, outreach, discipleship, and community-building ministries
• Candidate must be teachable and open to feedback and accountability.
• Demonstrates the ability to lead by example, equip, and partner with parents.
• Skilled in communication, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with computer applications and social media.
