Worship Leader

Do you have a passion for worship? Do you thrive on leading others into God's presence to worship Him? If so, we encourage you to contact Bethany Church to discuss the position of Worship Leader.

We are looking for a capable leader who has integrity, energy, creativity, and the ability to build our worship team. Someone sensitive to the Spirit of God who desires to be used by Jesus to build His church.
This is a part-time position for someone:

• Who has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him.
• Who is able to lead from the keys (or possibly the guitar) and will serve as the primary instrumentalist at worship services and recruit secondary musicians as necessary.
• Who will learn, create, and use worship planning strategies for weekly worship experiences.
• Who will assist in recruiting and developing both vocalists and musicians.

The person we are looking for will need to be experienced with a variety of worship styles, including contemporary music and traditional hymnody done in a contemporary way (utilizing either praise team or choir). We envision the use of contemporary songs to connect us to the present and lead us into the future. We desire to worship in the styles of Lauren Daigle, Toby Mac, Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Elevation Worship, Hillsong Worship, etc. We also envision a worship experience that creatively includes some traditional hymns to connect us with the roots of our religious heritage.
Bethany desires a leader who will create an atmosphere of worship in which the participants will sense that they are entering into the presence of God and are actually worshipping Him in their spirits. We seek a worship leader to take us into the presence of God.
