Worship Director

Redeemer Church is looking for a gifted and qualified individual to shepherd and lead their contemporary worship services. The Worship Director is responsible for building, recruiting, and shepherding the worship team that leads the congregation in Spirit-led worship.

**While we are seeking a full-time hire, we are open to conversations with candidates interested in a part-time role. Availability during Tuesday daytime hours would still be required in the part-time capacity.**

Responsibilities:

● Recruit, develop, rehearse, and train volunteers for the Worship Teams.

● Provide excellent musical leadership for all services and special events, faithfully pointing people through worship towards Christ and the gospel.

● In conjunction with the Pastor, plan worship services and special events. This would include coordinating music teams, technical teams aspects, visual elements, etc.

● Collaborate with and provide musical support when needed to other ministry areas, such as Kids Ministry, Student Ministry, and Adult Ministries.

● Creatively identify ways to continually strengthen the worship experience through a pursuit of excellence and innovation.

Requirements:

● A strong walk with God through a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

● Bachelor’s Degree (Worship, Music, or a related field is preferred)

● Previous experience leading worship.

● Able to lead worship from either guitar or piano, with strong vocals.

● Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of Music and Worship Arts, including online streaming technology and equipment, projectors, and components.

● Team player with effective relational skills.

● Ability to embrace the mission, vision, and values of Redeemer Church.

Compensation & Benefits:

● Full-time compensation between $45,000-$50,000 (depending on experience)
