This volunteer position requires a commitment of three years and entails managing financial accounts, bookkeeping, tax-related issues, and insurance matters, with an expected time commitment of 10-20 hours per month. The Treasurer will enter transactions into SpiritCare's accounting system, create monthly financial reports for the board of directors, manage payroll, log donations in Salesforce, and file necessary tax forms with federal and state authorities. Additionally, the Treasurer will collaborate with board members to develop an annual budget, work closely with insurance agents to maintain proper coverage, invoice organizations for services rendered, and communicate with donors, providing tax receipts as needed.
