Senior Pastor

Position Overview:

The Pastor will be responsible for providing spiritual leadership, preaching, teaching, and overseeing the administrative operations of the church. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and inspiring preacher, a dedicated student of the Bible, and a committed follower of Christ.

Responsibilities:

• Study God’s Word in order to explain, illustrate, and apply biblical principles to daily life
• Deliver engaging and inspiring sermons based on biblical truth
• Develop and promote a vision for the church
• Lead Bible studies, devotionals, and discipleship courses throughout the week
• Facilitate congregational prayer and worship
• Oversee church ministries and staff
• Coordinate spiritual guidance, counseling, and emotional support to those in need
• Serve as an ambassador of the church and be actively involved in community events and outreach programs
• Build relationships with internal and external church leaders and staff to achieve church goals

Qualifications:

• Theological Degree from a seminary or Bible based institution. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pastor or other ministerial leadership position in a Southern Baptist church
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and inspire others
• Passion for discipleship and evangelism
• Experience in church operations and administrative tasks.
