About Our Founder Piano Ministry Internship Position: Virtual Piano Ministry Instructor & Community Outreach Coordinator Position Type Remote internship (100% virtual) For academic credit or volunteer basis. Also includes local campus and community outreach. About the Role We are seeking a passionate and skilled pianist to join our ministry team in a remote capacity, sharing the transformative power of music through piano instruction while fostering spiritual growth through Christ's teachings. This position offers flexibility and can be structured as a volunteer opportunity, for academic credit, or as an internship experience. Primary Responsibilities Provide virtual piano instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, incorporating faith-based elements and spiritual teachings into lesson plans Design and implement engaging online music curriculum that bridges musical education with Christian ministry Coordinate with local community partners to facilitate virtual outreach programs and musical events Collaborate remotely with other musicians and vocalists for special performances and worship services Create and maintain digital resources for students' spiritual and musical development Participate in virtual ministry team meetings and contribute to program development Document student progress and maintain communication with students, families, and ministry leaders Required Qualifications Strong foundation in piano performance with the ability to play multiple genres including: - R&B / Soul - Blues / Jazz - Contemporary Christian - Gospel - Hymns - Contemporary worship music - Popular music Active Christian faith and understanding of Biblical teachings Experience teaching piano to diverse age groups Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Skype, etc.) Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual instruction Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or related field (in progress or completed) Previous experience in music ministry or church leadership Knowledge of music production software and digital recording tools Experience in community outreach or volunteer coordination Multilingual abilities a plus Schedule & Commitment 100% remote position with flexible scheduling Minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week 3-6 month initial commitment, with possibility of extension Ability to accommodate students in different time zones Benefits Meaningful opportunity to combine musical gifts with ministry Flexible remote working environment Mentorship from experienced music ministry leaders Valuable teaching and leadership experience Opportunity to impact lives through music and faith Possible academic credit (if applicable) Professional development opportunities Letters of recommendation upon successful completion To Apply Send to Please submit: Resume/CV highlighting musical and ministry experience Statement of faith Example of best writing Video recording demonstrating piano performance (optional) Our Commitment We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where musical gifts can be shared to glorify God and serve others.
