Part-time Worship Leader/Choir Director

Part-time Worship Leader/Choir Director - This position and its responsibilities are based on an average 20-hour work week, including Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings with a salary of $30,000 per year.

The Worship Leader/Choir Director will be responsible for recruiting and equipping persons into the music programs of the church with an understanding of Wesleyan/Methodist traditions, practices and beliefs. This person will also be responsible for the preparing of slides in _Pro Presenter _for our worship services.

Although mainly traditional in our current worship experiences, special emphasis will be given to developing new music ministries which will incorporate all ages and allow for a greater pool of volunteers to utilize their musical gifts for service in the church and community.

The ideal candidate will first and foremost have a love for Jesus and a passion for music, both traditional hymnody as well as more contemporary music.

Pay: $30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
