Employer Details
For the glory of God, Timothy Christian Schools exists to uphold Biblical truth, ignite academic growth, and inspire courageous leadership one student at a time. Timothy Christian Schools is a PS-12th grade, nondenominational, college preparatory school committed to Biblical virtues and values. We uphold Biblical truth, ignite academic growth, and inspire courageous leadership—one student at a time. As the largest private school in Illinois, Timothy Christian Schools is a flagship school, sharing best practices with other schools both locally and nationally. At Timothy Christian Schools, you don’t have to choose between Biblical values and academic excellence. Here, students experience both. Our Christ-centered environment and a curriculum grounded in a Biblical worldview work together to shape students into courageous leaders. Our entire preschool through 12th grade student body is located on one beautiful, 26-acre campus in Elmhurst, Illinois, which is recognized as a Tree Campus School by the Arbor Day Foundation. Timothy’s expansive campus includes an elementary, middle, and high school, as well as state-of-the-art technology-equipped classrooms, an innovation and design lab, a preschool playground, an elementary playground, three gyms, fine arts classrooms, rehearsal spaces, the Trojan Café, spacious dining areas, athletic fields, and Trojan Stadium. Every space is intentionally designed to give students the tools and environments to learn, build Christ-centered relationships, and thrive. Timothy Christian Schools is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, accredited by the Illinois State Board of Education and Cognia, and a member of CESA and ACSI. We’ve been honored with the Whole Child Award, Parent Choice Award, and are a Gold member of the AP Honor Roll, reflecting our mission to ignite academic growth. How We Live Our Mission Uphold Biblical Truth: From preschool to high school, nurturing teachers model Biblical virtues and values, encouraging students in their faith journey. Everything is taught from a Biblical worldview, including chapel, daily devotions, after-school clubs, and athletics. Ignite Academic Growth: Our Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), also known as Response to Intervention (RtI), provides small group instruction and individualized attention, helping students flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. Inspire Courageous Leadership: Students are given purposeful leadership opportunities that not only build confidence, but also deepen their faith. Whether it’s older elementary students paired as chapel buddies with preschoolers, middle schoolers participating in service projects, or high school students traveling abroad, leadership is central to everything we do.
