Location: Trinity Baptist Church of Indianapolis – Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Part-Time (10-20 Hours Per Week)

Start Date: TBD (As soon as position is filled)

Weekly Commitment: Sundays (plus prep/rehearsal as needed)

Position Summary:

Trinity Baptist Church of Indianapolis is seeking a spiritually mature and musically gifted Music Director to lead our Sunday morning worship gatherings. This part-time role will support the worship life of our church by coordinating and leading music each Sunday. TBC is a church that embraces a diverse range of Christian music, including contemporary worship songs, gospel, and traditional hymns. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and select 2–3 worship songs each week in alignment with our church’s doctrinal positions

• Collaborate with the AVL (Audio/Visual/Lights) team by providing song lyrics in a timely manner for Sunday projection slides.
• Lead rehearsals with the current praise team singers prior to prepare for Sunday worship.
• Facilitate and lead the musical portion of Sunday morning worship gatherings.
• Communicate regularly with the pastor and team leaders to ensure alignment and smooth worship flow.

Qualifications:

• A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a heart for worship ministry.
• Experience in leading worship vocally and instrumentally.
• Ability to work collaboratively with existing praise team members and church leadership.
• Reliable, organized, and communicative.
• Familiarity with contemporary worship music and/or hymns.

Timeframe & Compensation:

• This is a part-time position
• Compensation will be discussed based on experience and availability.
