Job description

Position: Director of Worship Ministry Teams

Emmanuel University, located in northeast Georgia, invites applications for a full-time Director of Worship Ministry Teams.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or a minimum of three years of experience in leading worship teams or a related field experience is preferred. Experience directing vocal and instrumental groups required. Experience with stage set-ups, lighting, sound systems, video systems, and worship presentation software required.

Summary of Duties:

Includes directing Emmanuel Singers, Resound vocal ensemble, Conquest summer ministry groups, chapel worship teams, and other musical outreach groups. Responsible for stage set-ups, lighting, sound systems, video systems, and worship presentation software. Has oversight of department budget and finances. Must be able to travel with and supervise ministry groups. Responsibilities include recruiting and training group members and scheduling ministry opportunities, both on and off campus. Must be able to represent the University and assist with overall recruiting efforts.

Abilities:
  1. Skilled in vocal and instrumental direction
  2. Can proficiently play an instrument (ex: guitar, keyboard)
  3. Quality singing voice and engaging stage presence
  4. Experience with the use of technology in worship such as lighting, worship software, sound systems, video
  5. Team player with good relational skills and a positive attitude
  6. Self-starter who strives for quality
