Position Summary
FEBC is seeking a passionate and results-driven Director of Development to lead fundraising efforts for its Chinese Ministry . This role will oversee all aspects of the development process, including donor cultivation, major gifts, fundraising campaigns, and relationship management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Chinese culture and language, a heart for ministry, and a strong background in nonprofit fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Donor Relations
Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support FEBC's Chinese Ministry.
Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and churches.
Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, ensuring ongoing engagement and giving.
Plan and implement donor events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives.
Strategic Development & Outreach
Collaborate with the VP of Development to set fundraising goals and measure progress.
Develop proposals, reports, and presentations for donors and stakeholders.
Represent FEBC's Chinese Ministry at conferences, church events, and networking opportunities.
Produce monthly Chinese ministry newsletters, appeals, and other targeted communications.
Work closely with marketing and communications teams to craft donor messaging.
Travel & Engagement
Travel as needed to meet with donors, attend events, and strengthen partnerships.
Engage with Chinese-speaking communities and churches across the U.S. and globally.
Qualifications & Requirements
Vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, preferably in major gifts or donor relations.
Bilingual - Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (spoken and written).
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse donors.
Knowledge of Chinese culture and church communities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Willingness to travel for donor visits and events.
Passion for FEBC's mission and a commitment to Christian ministry.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
