Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Contemporary Worship Leader Assistant to guide our congregation in worship through music. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an understanding of worship practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant worship environment that encourages participation and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities
Participating in weekly practices.
Lead congregational singing during worship services, ensuring an engaging and uplifting atmosphere.
Foster a welcoming environment for all participants, encouraging involvement from various age groups and backgrounds.
Stay current with contemporary worship trends while respecting traditional practices.
Experience
Proven experience in leading worship in a church or similar setting is preferred.
Strong musical abilities, including proficiency in playing an instrument and vocal performance.
Some responsibilities with Propresenter for weekly slides and video selection. Training will be provided.
