Job Description

CLASSIFICATION: Full time, hourly, non-exempt (40 hours)

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, in-person

OBJECTIVE: Effectively manage time, resources, and personnel necessary to develop age-appropriate curriculum for Early Childhood age children from babies to 3 years old at Redemption Kids experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in the REDEMPTION employee handbook.
  2. Take shared responsibility for accomplishing the vision of REDEMPTION and the REDEMPTION KIDS Department.
  3. Strive to display professionalism and moral conduct becoming of a church environment.
  4. Lead a team of staff and volunteers to develop curriculum that is age-appropriate, relatable, and impactful for Early Childhood age children from babies to kindergarten to be used in person during the Redemption Kids.
  5. Lead and oversee the Redemption Kids Sunday experience by working closely with the Children's Department Head to create and establish what this program will look like and obtain instruction for how to effectively execute each aspect.
  6. Oversee and coach the staff and volunteers who commit to being part of Redemption Kids Early Childhood as well as work with the appropriate cross-functional teams to create the experience.
  7. Plan and teach age-appropriate lessons based on the approved curriculum.
  8. Assist Children's Department Head in developing, planning, and organizing Redemption Kids events outside of Sundays.
  9. Oversee managing volunteer schedules and recruiting and onboarding of new volunteers.
  10. Oversee Redemption Kids Early Childhood staff.
  11. Establish goals and strategies for the growth of the spiritual foundation of the Redemption Kids Early Childhood children.
  12. Assist in developing and maintaining child safety and security procedures.
  13. Be coachable and willing to go above and beyond what is asked or required of you. Be willing to seek God and add your heart and revelation to the work you create while remaining teachable and willing to adjust to the direction or re-direction of leadership.
  14. Be willing to communicate and work with cross-functional teams within the ministry who may be able to assist or supply your team with additional resources and support when necessary.
