Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Children’s Ministry Director to lead and cultivate our children’s ministry. This part-time role is integral to our mission, focusing on creating a nurturing environment that fosters spiritual growth and development for children. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programs for children that promote spiritual growth and understanding of Biblical teachings.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist in children’s ministry activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Foster relationships with children and their families, providing support and resources to encourage their spiritual journey.
- Coordinate and oversee special events, services, and activities for children, including Sunday school and vacation Bible school.
- Collaborate with church leadership and other ministries to support the overall mission and outreach of Blue Ridge Community Fellowship.
- Evaluate and adapt programming based on feedback and the evolving needs of the children and families in our community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a deep understanding of the Bible and Christian teachings.
- Previous experience in children’s ministry or a related field, with a passion for working with children and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A heart for service and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all children.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in curriculum development or educational program planning.
- Familiarity with digital tools and social media for outreach and communication purposes.
- Training in child development or education.
