Children and Youth Ministry Director/Pastor

This person would be responsible for developing programs for both children and youth, staffing programs with volunteers, directing Wednesday night's Anchored Kids Club, managing summer Vacation Bible School, and additional children and youth activities throughout the year. Qualifications, Gifts, and Skills Set: A candidate applying for this position should have classes or a degree in Christian ministries or experience working with children/youth ministry. Bachelor's degree in Christian ministry, education, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in children's ministry leadership. Strong understanding and commitment to the doctrinal statement, mission, and values of the Global Methodist Church. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Passion for fostering the spiritual growth and well-being of children and youth and equipping parents to do the same. Participate as a team member in a collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work within all levels of staff, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Maintain confidentiality as required for the organization. Have a desire to connect and establish relationships within the congregation. Hours and Compensation: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week.
