Job Description: Associate Campus Pastor

Full-time/Exempt

CenterPoint is a thriving church that has grown consistently for over 20 years. We find that being missional and attractional aren't mutually exclusive and both are beneficial for reaching the lost. As a church body we are ethnically, theologically and socially diverse. We are looking for a self-starter to join our team and support a Campus Pastor and campus team.
Responsibilities
Top 3 priorities of an Associate Campus Pastor:

1. To assist in ensuring the values and DNA of CenterPoint at the campus
2. To assist in caring for and discipling the campus body
3. To assist in creating a missional presence in the local community

Other Responsibilities include

• Oversee all aspects of Hospitality & Assimilation and walking ?rst-time guests through to membership
• Assist in leading the greeting (Dream Team), Connect Point, safety and translation teams
• Oversee the logistics of the campus and facility needs
• Oversee ministry aspects of congregation
• Assist in providing pastoral care, outreach, compassion, youth, and life groups
• Gets involved with the local community and ?nds ways for the church to have a missional presence in the community.
• Pastoral care of local campus - Including running a life group,
• Encourage members to participate in the 5 commitments of membership: Seek, Connect, Serve, Reach, Give
• Develop volunteer engagement
• Assist in overseeing the logistics of campus and facility

All Pastors at CenterPoint are expected to:

• Have an active and growing relationship with Jesus
• Counsel and shepherd the church body
• Work as part of a team/build up all ministries at CP
• Perform weddings and funerals
• Preach as needed
• Be energetic & quick-paced
• Have a servant attitude
• Be skilled in administration and organization
• Have a welcoming and inviting presence

• Practice hospitality with people in the community as well as with people within the church

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree from a College or University in Theology is preferred
