THE BIG PICTURE

Lake City Community Church () is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor.

Who we are: Lake City Community Church (LC3) is an independent, non-denominational church located in Lakewood, WA that celebrated 100 years of faithful ministry in 2023. Over the last 5 years, we have more than doubled in size; our current average weekend service attendance is almost 1900 people across two campuses. As we have grown, our needs for pastoral leadership has also grown.

This role: The full-time position is an associate pastor who would have ministry oversight, preaching and teaching, and congregational care responsibilities. This role would report directly to the Lead Pastor.

Job Responsibilities

Support and provide oversight for assigned ministries (likely men's ministry and women's ministry; other ministries as needed)

Preach and teach during weekend services or other ministry events

Perform baptisms, communion, weddings, and memorial services, as needed

Attend leadership team, pastoral team, and staff meetings

Counsel 1:1 or with couples and families

Other general pastoral duties as assigned

Education and Experienced Preferred

College/seminary degree required.

3-10 years of experience serving as a pastor on a church staff

Ministry oversight experience
