EVANGEL UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - AG MINISTRY LEADERS OF TOMORROW JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose: Functionally assists AG Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow team members and manages campus activities and invoices Qualifications: The MLT project administrative assistant must have the ability to coordinate projects and schedules in accordance with grant initiatives a high school diploma, some college experience preferred, experience in standard computer programs (e.g. Microsoft Office) with accuracy and speed aptitude to learn new software organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, a pleasant personality and the ability to relate well with faculty, staff, administrative personnel, students, student workers, and campus visitors the ability to multi-task in an open work environment some knowledge of bookkeeping excellent spoken and written grammar skills a willingness to maintain a professional demeanor and wardrobe as well as punctual and consistent attendance Responsibilities: The administrative assistant will perform the following tasks as directed by the Director of AG Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow Project: Use computer programs for office organization and administration: including Microsoft Office programs, ADP, EMS, CAMS, Course Commons, the Hub etc. (the latter are campus specific programs). Manage appointment schedules and communication for the director and assist with travel arrangements. Manage details of grant events, including working with sites and vendors. Arrange for all purchase requisitions, grant purchase orders, bookstore orders, duplicating services and check requests. Order and dispense office supplies. Track monthly budget spending for the grant team. Assist and coordinate approx. 2 student workers. Oversee maintenance of office computers, printers, and copy machine. Handle routine decisions in the absence of the project leaders. Keep accurate lists of majors, minors, and concentrations in all ministry-related programs. Assisting and monitoring recruitment data for AG Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow program. Input course schedules for spring, summer, and fall terms. Update academic catalog on EU website as requested. Make Event Scheduling reservations through EMS for on campus functions. Perform other duties as requested by the Director of AG Ministry Leaders of Tomorrow and department Chair.
